Last Full Day of School: Friday, June 15th. Daycare will follow-June 18th through July 1st. During the last week of school students will need swim suits and beach towels for water play.

We will be closed the week of July 2nd – 6th

Montessori Country Day Camp Program:

July 9th – August 24th (8 weeks)!!

Age Criteria:
Remember, your child must be 3 years old and potty trained. We accept children ages 3 – 9 years of age.

8:00am – 5:30pm (6:45 opening time is available)
$150.00/wk (all day) (not including extras!)
* 10.00 per child per week for swim lessons.

Schedule includes: swimming, gymnastics, Abbotts Mill Nature Center, bowling, music lessons, science, Chinese and computer classes.

Mini-Camper Program:

1/2 day only available also.

8:00am – 12:30pm (6:45 opening time is available)
$120.00/wk (all day) (including extras!)

We will be leaving the school by 1:30 pm and will return by 2:45 pm.

A retired Airmen will volunteer his time and provide us this wonderful tour. Parents are most welcome to join in on the trip.

This year’s MRT will begin on May 15th and conclude on the 24th. Morning testing will be for children ages 4 1/2 – 6 year old, only,

Parents will receive testing results by June 15th and will receive a review printout with recommendations for where the child needs to focus in those four areas of testing. Our directoress will analyze the results and provide those recommendations to the parents.

This evaluation will be what the child has learned throughout the beginning of the year and what they must work on.

Just another way to prepare our children for later learning.

Earth Day – April 22, 2012
Get Children and Adults Excited About Doing Their Part For The Environment! We will celebrate Earth Day by planting a tree! Coming? Let us know. We’d love to have you be part of their learning experience. Call us at the school.

Upcoming field trip: Delaware State University Agricultural Tour on Wednesday, April 25th. We will be going on a field trip to
Hickory Hills Farm to learn about farmers, farm life and about how important they are to us. There will be farm
animals, equipment, etc. We will be leaving promptly at 10:00 am Parents are needed to drive on the trip. Interested? Let us know very soon, please feel free to call us at the school.

Day Care times: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm.

Note: Parents will be notified if a field trip is scheduled during this week.

We’ll be having pizza for the party. Event will be from 11am – 1pm. Please join us!

Now that the weather is getting warmer we will be exploring the world around us and making new discoveries. Also new this year, each child will be provided with a magnifying glass to learn more about the world around us.
